“The first major update to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer in 5 years” is comming in November. The recommendation from Microsoft is to be ready by November 1st. It will take a little while for the update to proliferate amongst all windows users, however if you have analytics or user tracking of any sort set up on your website, you might have already noticed visitors using IE7/Windows XP, and this will only increase in the comming weeks. The best thing to do is to download the update before it becomes an encouraged automatic update, and look around your site(s) with it. (more…)
